The UNI Flanges Series 900 provides a power-tight Rigid flanged connection, eliminating the requirement for solvent-welding, tie rodding, harnessing, and other sorts of restraint. Uni-Flange eliminates the issues of pre-engineered, prefabricated piping systems. Pipe fabrication is often performed on-site, employing a plain end pipe, a hand tool, and a wrench. No threading, welding, or grooving is important. The Uni-Flange eliminates the requirement to believe off-site fabricators and machine shops. it’s ideal for projects that involve retrofitting or renovation of existing piping systems. Uni-Flanges are often freely rotated before the flange bolts are inserted and tightened. Pre-fabricated piping systems don’t offer this installation advantage. The Uni-Flange will permit pipe deflection during installation. This implies the Uni-Flange can make the connection when other means can’t. The Uni-Flange offers built-in end restraint. No tie rods or other sorts of anchoring are necessary for normal working pressures. Special considerations are also necessary for pump surges. The Uni-Flange are often easily disassembled and slid back on the pipe. This facilitates the removal of the flanged equipment.
